ANNBRICE  Biography

 

 

After studying at the prestigious “Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts”, ANNBRICE studied painting techniques in Paris at the famous Picasso Studio on Blvd Raspail, as well as other studios in the Latin Quarter and the Monparnasse district.

 

True to the tradition of “La Grande Chaumiere” ( a style developed by various Parisian painters of the 19th century, which she has long studied), her instinct for lines and colors enables her to capture on canvas the sensations discerned by her practiced eye. Her oil paintings are characterized by a bold blend of reds and blues, her drawings convey the force of her imagination through transparencies of black and white. Feminine emotion is a favorite theme for ANNBRICE, capturing the intimacy of her subjects, both still and in motion.

 

The result of years of painting has yielded hundreds of provocative oils and sketches in her own unique style, which ANNBRICE presents as a statement on modern society.

 

Her award-winning works have been exhibited all over the world, in PARIS, CANNES, NEW YORK, ROME, BEJING, SHANGHAI, LAGUNA BEACH (California) among others, where they have found their way into private collections.
